Your complete satisfaction is most important. Barbara’s jewelry pieces are delicate and constructed to withstand normal wear and tear. Do be aware, that gemstones and pearls need special care to keep them looking beautiful. In general, do not use any liquid jewelry cleaners or ultrasonic cleaners. Be gentle. Mild soap and water with a soft brush, or using a jewelry cloth to clean metal is best. Do not excessively clean oxidized silver. The patina gives the piece its beauty. Avoid contact with perfumes, make-up, hairspray and other chemicals, such as chlorine in swimming pools. Do not wear your jewelry swimming especialy in a chlorine pool! Dropping your jewelry can chip or break stones and pearls - even diamonds - and damage metals. “Your jewelry should be the last thing you put on before you walk out the door and the first thing you take off at the end of the day.”
Refunds and Exchanges for US Customers Only
Refunds or exchanges of any purchase within 30 days of receipt only within the US, provided that items are in original condition. Exceptions can be made for longer return times and return of defective product. No cash refunds. Please note, that any jewelry pieces showing signs of wear or those that have been damaged or altered in any way upon receipt cannot be accepted for refund or exchange.
Within the US returns should be mailed to: bhwydesigns . . .studio, 215A Polaco St., Santa Fe, New Mexico, US, 87501. Customer is responsible for shipping. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for an exchanged product to reach you, may vary. Curbside pick-up for returned and/or exchanged items available for local customers.

Again, please note that to be eligible for a refund or exchange, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it in. It must also be in the original packaging. To complete the process, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund or exchange.
No Refunds or Exchange for International Customers
Please note that our refund/and exchange policy is for US customers only. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer returns or exchanges on products that have been shipped outside of the US.
SALE ITEMS ARE FINAL - Only regular priced items may be returned for refund or exchange (if applicable) .
Gift Policy
This policy is only applicable for US orders. If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, you will receive a store credit for the item. If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a store credit to the gift giver.
