Barbara H. Weber Yoffee, Designer and Graduate Gemologist (GIA)Barbara works in a studio attached to her residence in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Her designs are inspired by ancient art and archeology. In particular, she has studied jewelry from ancient Egypt, Mesopotamia,India and China.
Her creative use of turquoise, lapis lazuli, pearls, tourmalines reflect her engagement with timeless themes, colors and arrangements. Each piece is unique.
Barbara personally buys and selects her gemstones from international dealers during her travels abroad. Many of her pieces have been exhibited in galleries around the country as well as in museum gift shops.
